Gameday in Athens is a whole day. You want somewhere to prep food in the morning, somewhere to go back to when the game ends, and somewhere the group can keep going after. A hotel room gives you none of that.

Homecoming and Family Weekend are the two that go first

The two late-season home games are the value plays. Ball State on Tuesday, November 17 is a weeknight, and Toledo on Friday, November 27 falls the day after Thanksgiving — plenty of families are already traveling, and Athens is quiet.

Alumni weekends work here too

A lot of our fall bookings are groups of alumni coming back for one game, and the cabin fits that better than it fits almost anything else — close enough to campus to walk Court Street after, far enough out that nobody is checking the noise. Guests have described it as a quiet retreat with the campus twenty minutes of the day away.
